Very rare offering. Very few made. This 20 gauge, 28″ barrel BSS Sidelock is in pristine condition. I purchased it from a collection about ten years ago and I believe it was test fired only. I have put approximately 300 rounds through it (I could not resist). It is a joy to shoot. It is choked modified and full. They were available in 12 and 20 gauge with barrel lengths of 26″ and 28″. The 28″ is more rare as is 20 gauge. It comes with a leather Browning case with a beige colored fluffy interior. I never use a hard case and have not seen it since I purchased the gun however I will dig it out of storage if the gun is acquired by the next caretaker.
The metal is perfect without a rub or scrape on the receiver or barrels.
The wood is perfect except for a few rubs during storage in the safe.
The checkering on the buttstock and forend and the checkered butt is perfect.
