Performed more detailed inspection, and there is a healthy scratch down the bore of the 2 3/4” chambered barrel. The barrel walls have been measured and read as follows:

      2 3/4” barrel

End of right chamber = .101”
      9” from chamber = .051”
End of left chamber = .100”
      9” from chamber = .051”

      2 1/2” barrel

End of right chamber = .104”
      9” from muzzle = .044”
End of left chamber = .103”
      9” from muzzle = .045”

I shot the gun earlier in the week and it shoots nice, however in the long forcing cone barrel, the hull in the right chamber is allowed to expand and makes it stick and hard to open. That could be somewhat shells specific, but regardless, the 2 3/4” chambered barrel may be not great to use. The other barrel being unmodified is dandy.

Price is now $500 plus shipping.
