Looking for a 16ga barrel, to mate up with an 1888 F grade cocking rod, pivot lever gun. AKA, needle in the haystack. Thanks.

I may have something in lightweight 12g for a gun of that era/action type.

Thanks Brian. Would a lightweight 12 barrel have any potential fitting a 16ga action?

measurements will tell. They are Damascus from an E grade. Serial 10,8XX.
Length is just over 28″. I presume cut down from 30″.
Outside breech measurement is 2.20″ Height of breech from water table is 1.10″
      Firing pin centers is ~1.08″.

I would not want much for them if you think they may work.

Thanks. Sounds interesting. The breech height measurement is to the highest point of the breach, like up through the firing pins along the face?

Height from the water table to the top of fence, crossing the firing pin = 1.116”

Distance between firing pins, from pin tips = 1.063”

Distance from outside edges of breach, crossing the firing pins = 2.137”

      And the consensus is?

Everything seems close enough to make it worth a try. Your call.

$75 shipped if you want to try them. Extractor is included with the barrels. They are just sitting here in my barrel bucket.

Contact me directly if you want to go farther with them.

Close , but no cigar. The size and position of the barrel lug, and the length of the rib extension were too different to make this barrel work. Nice barrel though, which now is on hand should something else come along needing it. Still looking for a barrel for this particular gun.
